Job Description


Moji Holding is the parent company of Dough Zone Dumpling House, an award-winning chain restaurant. We are now looking for HR professionals (either HRM concentrated or Payroll concentrated) to join our team and support the rapidly growing need of the company. The candidate will work directly and closely with the HR manager, store managers, employees, and potential candidates to ensure success to meet department goals, as well as the broader company goals and strategic direction.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Salaray: $56,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

HR Management Concentrated

  • Acts as a business partner in helping store managers with employee relations, performance management, organization set up, etc.

  • Knowledgeable in Federal and State law and ensures employment compliance including FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA, etc.

  • Responsible for recruiting and managing the employee life cycle from on-boarding to off-boarding

  • Administer Benefits Management including insurance and 401k and provide guidance to employees regarding benefits-related matters.

  • Drive a variety of HR programs including compensation, benefits administration, training & development, annual performance review program, reward systems, etc.

  • Proactively guide management and employee actions by contributing to researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines

PayrollHRIS Concentrated 

  • Conduct new hire recruiting and onboarding processes

  • Process ADP payroll transactions for new hires, leave of absences, terminations, employee changes, timesheets, and wage garnishments

  • Ensure compliance with tax jurisdictions and policy

  • Audit payroll data and reports for errors and resolve issues.

  • Assist with other daily operations of the HR functions and duties

  • Assists employees and supervisors with the basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements, Skills, and Abilities

  • Associate degree or above

  • Minimum 1 year of HR / Payroll experience is preferred

  • Ability to communicate in Chinese or Spanish is preferred

  • Experience working with HRIS systems, ADP WorkforceNow is a plus

  • Food/Restaurant Industry experience is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail
